The most recent updates keep breaking functionality. Most of my story filters are broken or missing. Checking help indicates there is a face and gestures settings option to turn on, but that setting does not exist in the app. This has been broken for MONTHS and submitting problem reports gets no response. Then they roll out an AI search and claim there's a setting to turn it off, which again does not exist in the app. Irresponsible app roll out.

What's the point of the reel icons next to every chat?? This is annoying. No way to pause the reels (which is especially inconvenient when trying to follow a workout). Reels switching to the next ones while I'm still reading comments under the first one. Also, what's the point of meta ai in there??? It's needless and simply annoying. Every update makes this app worse

Been using this since 2012. It seems that in the urge for growth, the Instagram team has neglected basic desires of the user-base: folks want to share things and connect with like-minded people, while discovering new things and possibilities. The algorithmic limitations on reach and unintuitive feed collections for users, showing few things of interest, has crippled the utility of the app, for many. Hopefully it can be fixed.
